This is a must read for any American World War 2 Lovers. I personally listened to the audio book. I must say it changed my view on the war itself. Davies really does a remarkable job of breaking done categories of the war, not to mention how we view it today. For example most American’s felt we won the war for the most part, but we fail to see that it wasn’t until late 1943 that we really started to become a force to reckon with.
